Men’s Fashion Week for the Autumn/Winter 2025 season has unveiled a
diverse array of trends that blend innovation with tradition. These
trends reflect a dynamic interplay between classic tailoring, bold
expressions, cultural narratives, and a commitment to inclusivity,
setting the tone for men’s fashion in the upcoming season. Here are
some of the standout themes:

1. Refined Tailoring and Minimalism
Kim Jones’ collection for Dior Men emphasized minimalist and
aristocratic tailoring, drawing inspiration from Christian Dior’s 1954
“H-Line” haute couture. The collection featured luxurious fabrics such
as silk and velvet, presenting a sophisticated and elegant aesthetic.

2. Bold Colors and Patterns
Hermès introduced a vibrant, jockey-inspired theme, incorporating bold
racing silks in deep browns, dark teals, vivid reds, and yellows. The
collection showcased fuzzy mohair coats, velvet varsity jackets, and
plush sheepskin outerwear, emphasizing sleek, streamlined silhouettes.

3. Nostalgic Streetwear and Cultural Fusion
Kenzo, under the direction of Nigo, presented a collection that fused
nostalgia with 1990s street culture. Collaborating with graffiti
artist Futura, the designs featured iconic atom logos intertwined with
Kenzo florals, blending traditional motifs with contemporary
streetwear aesthetics.

4. Advocacy and Inclusivity in Fashion
Willy Chavarria’s debut at Paris Fashion Week highlighted LGBTQ+
rights, featuring bold, gender-inclusive designs inspired by
Caravaggio’s paintings. Collaborating with Tinder and the Human Rights
Campaign, the collection emphasized social justice and inclusivity.

5. Textural Depth and Layering
Hermès’ collection also focused on rich textures and layering,
utilizing materials like alpaca, cashmere flannel, velvet, bouclé,
shearling, and mohair. The designs included chunky-knit sweaters with
poncho hoods and coats with swaddling blanket linings, offering both
comfort and style.

6. Shearling Accents
Shearling-collar jackets, both double-breasted and cocooning, emerged
as a notable trend, providing warmth and a touch of luxury to
outerwear pieces.
